Extensive teaching experience with children in a classroom setting but also as a tutor during one-on-one sessions. As a private tutor: Provided support for learners with learning disabilities in a variety of academic subjects for grades pre- K through G10. Worked with students to help develop their basic reading and writing skills. Provided students with emotional support when needed. As a classroom teacher: Teacher for preschool level English, Math and Science. Managed a classroom of 27 learners of the age of three, prepared and implemented appropriate lesson plans, and a variety of activities for individuals or groups. Created an enthusiastic environment and made learning a happy journey among children. Presented excellent communication skills to deliver learning effectively. Teaching has always been and will continue to be a big part of my life. When I am teaching, I feel that I am a part of something bigger and that I am contributing positively to the life of someone else. That gives me a sense of purpose that no other job has given me.
